Motorcycling involves a lot of equipment and many manufacturers try to provide the ideal equipment for all riders. The problem with this approach is that all equipment has competing constraints and good equipment has a better balance of these constraints for a given application. I have listed most of the equipment I have for motorcycling and summarized my experience with each piece of equipment.

The equipment choices for motorcycles are really broad and much of the equipment is quite specialized. Most motorcycle dealers have a large selection of stuff for all kinds of unique applications. If you want to change something about your motorcycle, asking a good dealership is a good way to start. Unlike cars, many options on a motorcycle can be added after the purchase of a motorcycle.
